Needle felted Angora goat

A beautiful needle felting craft that I purchased about two years ago and had forgotten about it. The children were excited when they saw the photo. They insisted on making it. A craft I probably would have done during winter but here it is and it's very cute. They love it.  He is so fluffy and cuddly.

My children love to needle felt.  They've been working with knives, scissors, hammers and nails, since a young age.  Living on a farm exposes my children to many tools often feared by many parents.

Sasha and Sania are both very skillful with their hands.  Felting is a calming experience for them.

Felting the legs.

The legs ready to be attached to the body.

It's hard to capture how he really looks!  He's adorable.

I came across an interesting blog about a semi-self sufficient farm called Southard Farm. They have many Angora and Shetland Goats and Sheep which resemble our little Angora goat.
